Smile: Have you ever worked at a big company and someone fucks something up with a distribution list so now half the company is on it and everyone is doing reply-all with "I'm not supposed to be on this" and variants thereof?
Well now imagine two of those happening on the same day.

Please tell me it was for something hilarious and/or confidential.MrPopo wrote:Smile: Have you ever worked at a big company and someone fucks something up with a distribution list so now half the company is on it and everyone is doing reply-all with "I'm not supposed to be on this" and variants thereof?

The first was a "Hey, we're doing this seminar thing" that went to far too many people. The second was a message from the Outlook server when someone tried to send a DRM encrypted email but the Exchange server was backed up and no one could open up the message; they just get a "This is protected by DRM" message in the email. I think it might have been someone sending a DRM reply to the first thread to try and block reply-alls (since you can't reply-all an Exchange DRM email).Ack wrote:Please tell me it was for something hilarious and/or confidential.MrPopo wrote:Smile: Have you ever worked at a big company and someone fucks something up with a distribution list so now half the company is on it and everyone is doing reply-all with "I'm not supposed to be on this" and variants thereof?

This is gonna be a big change for me, especially since I've been living at home my whole life. For one thing, no internet access for 8 1/2 weeks.

And since we're bringing our troops home, you might not be in any danger, we hope.

Yeah, I can't quite remember the last time I was without internet for more than a 3-4 day span of time. That's rough, but I'm sure you'll have enough to deal with that the lack of internet won't be that important.BoringSupreez wrote:This is gonna be a big change for me, especially since I've been living at home my whole life. Good luck, though. Hopefully we won't be getting ourselves into WWIII any time soon.
