very nice, dood!

I have the later pressing with the blue box. I think I like the red box better since the artwork looks even more b-movie-ish.

i picked up two of these for $100 any idea what they're worth
probably like $20 each. that'd be like buying a kiosk from a dentist's office or something.
even though they're n64 mcdonalds demo units? i've got a buyer for the second one already for $100 I don't think anyone else has been able to get there hands on these.

When I get home, I throw Ninja Gaiden Trilogy in my SNES to test it out, and...BattleClash loads up.

Someone apparently switched the board in the cartridge for BattleClash. Who does that? Why? WHY!!!!!!??????
So somewhere out there, someone has a copy of Battleclash with Ninja Gaiden Trilogy inside of it.

Collector fail...

I was tempted to go back to the flea market and buy every copy of Battleclash in the dealers possession...I concluded that (1) it was not worth the 3 hour round tript; (2) he probably did not have any copies of Battleclash; and (3) even if he did have Battleclash, he probably did not one with a Ninja Gaiden Trilogy board. (Also, I would have to put up with the smoke again...) I actually ended up trading my Ninja Gaiden Trilogy shell (w/free Battleclash board) to another mamber who was looking to upgrade his cartridge...so, everything worked out in the end.

i mean, are they nintendo branded? is there any official nintendo hardware in those that wasn't just consumer grade? i can't see why these would be worth more than maybe what you paid for them.

Picked up an N64 at the thrift store for $8 (no AV cord or controllers). I have an extra AV cord and told a coworker I'd look out for one and buy it for her if it was cheap enough. It cleaned up real well and works fine.

Also got Sonic and Knuckes, Spider-Man (The Animated Series), and Road Rash 3 for Genesis, all cart only for $12. Just kind of a "Meh" deal on the carts but somehow I have never been able to get my hands on a cheap Sonic and Knuckles. I like the other 2 games too so I don't mind paying that for 3 loose carts.

I usually don't go thrifting during the week but after finding some good stuff on an unscheduled trip to last week I decided to try to work it into my schedule. There were an uncommon amount of games today but most of them were crap. Still, nice to see more games on the shelves.
"Oh great, another box of useless sh*t."

Main Collection: http://connect.collectorz.com/users/ynj ... collection - Not looking to move anything on this list but would entertain offers.
