The PS2 Saturn Pad is a bit on the Rare side, and the Nuby Pads SUCK.
so... what are my options for PS2/PS1 6 button controllers?

Yeah I have 2 they aren't as responsive as I'd like them to be.

Re: favorite controller for fighting games
@jay_red- the 15th anniversary SF controllers look much nicer than they actually play. The d-pad is very "squishy" and not as responsive as it should be.
To me the best gamepad is the Saturn model 2 controller. I like it so much that I bought a Saturn to Dreamcast convertor (total control 3) so I could use the Saturn pad when playing MvC2, Power Stone, Garou MotW, 3rd Strike, and shmups.
As far as fighting sticks go, I am no expert, but I am very satisfied with owning a Agetec Dreamcast stick and a Madcatz Marvel vs Capcom 3 TE stick.

Pretty much this they were adequate for awhile but now they just SUCK. There are Saturn to PS2 converters out there though...8bit wrote:@jay_red- the 15th anniversary SF controllers look much nicer than they actually play. The d-pad is very "squishy" and not as responsive as it should be.
