Obviously it is all these guy's fault.
I should've known this was Mike Patton's fault.
Do you think he even cares? I mean, he's no Chuck Mosley.

Tub-Thumping or Thrift Shop?

Tub-thumping ties for my least favorite song I've ever heard, right next to Pachelbel's canon in d. They both make me want to leave the room, but unfortunately lots of times that room is in a church. They're both so awfully repetitive and obnoxious.

That was the first time I'd ever heard of or heard any of Thrift Shop. I made it about half way through the video before I had to turn it off.

You don't like Canon? One of my favorite classical music pieces. You must at least like one of the songs that ripped it off though.

Tub-Thumping is awful. What's funny is that Chumbawamba actually used to be a decent anarcho-punk band back in the day.

I gotta admit, as someone who frequents the local thrift shops, I love that Thrift Shop song. I actually watch a bit of MTV every morning around 5:25 AM and they started playing the video months ago. Finally heard it on the radio for the first time today.

The retro game store near me is called Epic Games, and of course Epic Games made the awesome ZZT, Jazz Jackrabbit, and Unreal so there's still a legit use for it

:) - Finally import 'modded' one of my N64s, and cleaned it up while I was at it

:( - Tried doing the soldering iron method, which was a pretty stupid thing to do. Despite giving me anything but a 'clean' finish to the mod, I also had to spend about 20 minutes cutting away at stuff to actually get it open enough for JP carts, and the smell of burnt plastic lingered in my nostrils for way too long.

:) - While I thought the burnt plastic smell was stuck to the N64 also, it turns out that it actually smells wonderfully of sandalwood and lavender now.

:( - Turns out I over payed on Ogre Battle 64, as the box and manual showed up in pretty rough shape.

:D - After some quick cleaning of the cartridge, I bumped it up to about an A/A- from a B-/C+. I think I'll just separate them.... (Would that make me racist?)

I just can't trust those dirty boxes and manuals not to taint my beautiful, N/M cartridge princess with their grubby folds.
