I like the Dreamcast. I'll still occasionally pick up Power Stone to play with my friends.

Same here! Back at SCR tournament event a few weeks back, some sponsor with a booth had a Dreamcast setup for casual play. Outta nowhere someone pops up with a backup of PowerStone 2. That shit was SO much fun with 4player free for all and team battles. Asses were handed that dayTheGrimAngel wrote:I like the Dreamcast. These past few days, I've been playing Spawn ITDH and I finally posted my review for it the day before yesterday!

But to answer the question, my DC gaming is going mighty fine. Waiting on my second copy of VOOT JPN so I can VS link dat shit. Purchased 2 defective DC's for a mere fiver and fixed them both (that bumps me up to 21 at the moment). Play Deka, Project Justice, Powerstone 1/2, MVC2, getting ready to play Illbleed and D2 this summer and am about to pop in Fast Striker as we speak

Power Stone 1 and 2 are awesome go to games for playing with friends or someone who is not a big gamer. No big special moves or combos to memorize and it's just absolute mayhem sometimes. The PSP remake stands nowhere near the original dreamcast releases. I have <3'd Power Stone since it launched on 9/9/99.

That's what you think. At high level play, Powerstone 2 is hella technical, and rather interesting to watch as well (especially 2on2 team battle format).8bit wrote:No big special moves or combos to memorize and it's just absolute mayhem sometimes.
!THANK YOU!. The PSP remake stands nowhere near the original dreamcast releases.

There's tons of Capcom exclusives to the Dreamcast. Even the DC games that were ported elsewhere, as someone said, are not as good because many of them were NAOMI based, which was in essence pretty much the guts of a DC. Having exact ports straight from the arcade at the time was what made owning a DC special.

Vampire Chronicles is on ps2 with 480p mode.
Love the DC
Yesterday I saw Skylanders on the Wii in action. It reminded me of Power Stone 2.
edit: I accidently wrote 'Poser Stone 2'

For the talk about the HD remakes.
For me, the games I still play on the Dreamcast are Record of Lodoss Wars (Just about to start this up and finally complete it. Great game), Super Magnetic Neo, Powerstone 1 & 2, Samba De Amigo 2000, Seaman...that's right!, Last Blade 2 and Shenmue I & II which I play religiously every so many months.
