Man, just looking at the first post gets me all teary-eyed...
I can't help but notice the kid's toys in his gameroom, tried to combine his hobby and what's precious to him in the same environment. I hope his daughter will be able to find some enjoyment in her late dad's passing, but I would imagine his surviving relatives would get rid of the majority of his collection due to the sheer volume/room required to store it.
Warmest regards to his family and daughter. RIP

Now may not be a good time since its still way to fresh but sometime in the future we should try to contact his sister or friend who let us know about Blakes passing and offer to hold an auction or something if they decide to sell anything. I bet our members would be happy to pay full or above full price for anything they want to let go of. It would be a nice way for us to help the family besides just the charity auction next year and a good way for friends of Blake to have a piece of his cherished collection which they can hold onto and remember him by. I know I am proud to have some games in my collection that came from him.

Good thoughts behind that, I agree behind that sentiment 100%. As you said, now isn't the right time, but in the event that they are going to part ways with his collection, I would gladly pay over market value for his items, knowing that it'll will be going towards something other than somebodies wallet.
