Franchises you want Nintendo to bring back.

People equally ignored other great new nintendo IPs back when too though. Drill dozer, Chibi-Robo, Art Style, Doshin the Giant, Cubivore, Another Code/Trace Memory, Hotel Dusk, Magical Starsign, Starfy, Kururin, - all pretty much ignored in the west.

Even games which did get sequels often didn't get them outside of japan due to poor sales, or in some cases did, but the developer went under due to continuing poor sales (as is the case with Cing).

If new traditional IPs such as these haven't been selling well for Nintendo, it doesn't surprise me that so many of their newer IPs are lifestyle games like Brain Age, Big Brain Academy, Wii Fit and Art Academy. Those games sell, so those are what they're gonna make.

I don't know about the rest. But I'm pretty sure Starfy was never released in the West. So I wouldn't really call it ignoring when we never got it to begin with.

The DS game was released here in "the west" as "The Legendary Starfy".

Yup, every series on my list had at least one entry that made it to either North America or Europe.

I have quite a bit of nostalgia for Balloon Kid for the Game Boy and would really like to play a modern sequel. Perhaps the game can be brought to 3D.

Also, I don't know if this'll count, but I'd like to see another Wario World.

Indeed. It's a direct sequel to the first too - you're in the home of the now grown up Jenny from the first game.

Nintendo should definitely make a new or remake Startropics. I still own both of them for the NES. An HD startropics would be pretty cool on the WiiU.
