Baldur's Gate

I got bored. The interface was a bit irritating. I see why some may really like it, but I don't.

I tried Darkest of Days and Eat Lead Return of Matt Hazard. Got to a part in both of them where I couldn't advance because I would die endlessly in the same way because of the games's horrible design.

February update!:

Key:Red = Completely given up, Black = Intending to finish

Nintendo Land Wii U
Blaster Master Wii VC
Cave Story WiiWare
Scribblenauts DS
Ultimate Ghosts n' Goblins PSP
Jeanne d'Arc PSP

Games off the list: Pokémon White Version 2
Games on the list: Blaster Master, Cave Story, Scribblenauts, Ultimate Ghosts n' Goblins, Jeanne d'Arc.

So, one game off the list this month, which was Pokémon White 2. Lots has been added to the list though .

Blaster Master is a fun little game which I'm still trying to beat. Its really tough though, and it's my first time playing through. I hope to have it beaten this time next month.

Cave Story is a game I've been working through on my streams. It's pretty fun, and I'm sure I'll be getting through it some more next time I stream.

Jeanne d'Arc is a nice little strategy game. It's fairly long and I started it near the end of the month so I have a little ways to go to finish it yet. I'm positive it'll be polished off in March.

Finally, the last 2 games added to the list are a arity for me - 2 games that I've just given up on entirely. They're just not fun. Scribblenauts pretends to be creative and let you use your imagination, but often you creative solutions wont help you solve a puzzle. Hell, sometimes even the OBVIOUS solution wont solve the puzzle. I had to get a lamb across a pond, so I built a bridge. The bridge was tiny, and sank into the middle of the pond, not even being close to big enough to bridge the gap. Urgh. Add in the awfuol controls and I'd had enough - I wanted to love the game, but it's awful. To the selling pile it goes!
Ultimate Ghosts n' Goblins on the other hand controls fine, and does exactly what it set out to do - make a difficult sidescrolling platformer. I think they went too far on this one though - the assault is so continous, from all angles that it feels incredibly cheap, and badly balanced. Compared to the much superior and fairer Super Ghouls n Ghosts, I decided this one wasnt worth my time either. Both of these games were recieving their second chance (they were on this list last year too), and failed, so to eBay they go!

The Stage 6 boss in Splatterhouse (Tg16) has kept me from beating it.

You will be cursing as if it ran over your puppy.

I don't know if the VC version has save states, but it took me years to beat Blaster Master, cheat free. The final boss is a bit of a push-over but the lead up to him is extremely difficult.

Best of luck!

I've heard bad things about stage 8, but as it is I've only managed to get up to the boss of stage 5. I think I need to get there with the maximum gun, but I normally unfortunately die before I get there and have to fight it with the crappy gun instead.

Currently trying to play and beat Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen, its very diablo-ish, but very hard imo, the guards i run into take too many hits.

Think i might skip to the 3D more linear ones starting with Soul Reaver.

1.) Fae Victus!
2.) If you're playing for the story, which is awesome, Blood Omen is pretty light on the story. It starts getting complex with Soul Reaver, which builds on Blood Omen, but not a pre-requisite.
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

Really? That's a shame. I had a lot of fun with the sequel when I beat it, but I never tried the original. Perhaps give the second one a go? It enables adjectives, so in your example you could use "big bridge" to create a bridge large enough to fit over the pond. The controls were also considered better overall.

Getting to Bourbon street is difficult. Trying to beat Bourbon street is insanity. Not sure if I can knock this one out fellas.
