Small improvement, but it's an improvement.

Need FreeMCboot? I'll install it on your PS2 Memory Card for free if you cover postage both ways.
Consoles: I have too much stuff
Arcade: No seriously, I have too much stuff. Someone grab a shovel and dig me out of my basement.

Wrong thread, but:

Smile - My Dragon Spirit NES cart arrived last week, my cheap NES clone arrived from Amazon yesterday ($18 shipped / new).

Ticked - Found out 30 seconds ago I apparently already had it on GCN NAMCO 50th Anny :/

They're actually two different games. The GCN/Xbox/PS2 game is the arcade original, and the NES is a slightly different port. Think Gradius III different. Well, maybe not that much, but close.

I think some here have the PCE port, too, which I believe is the one that's on the Virtual Console. I wouldn't be surprised if someone had some other port, like the C64, Amiga, or Spectrum port.

I'll be playing the PCE port and possibly the PSP port (if I find it in the wild).

.... and also posted right underneath my post where I had made mention of it

Don't be too disappointed about getting the NES cart. I did too full well knowing that it was a slightly different port, as O.pw stated. The stages are the same, but there's different power ups and 2 play modes depending on your performance in the introduction stage. If you make it, you get the BLUE game which is the proper experience with all stages. If you can't get past there, you get the easier GOLD mode which gives you an additional life bar, cuts the game in half and gives you a bad ending.

You'll see in my write up tomorrow that there are more ports than one might think. Besides the NES and PCE, it made appearances on many home computers, and also on various other Namco Museum titles.

PCE port is on Virtual Console.

I think a NES, PCE, and MAME/Namco Museum types scoreboard would fit best.
