So what have you guys been watching lately?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Mad Men, I started this series on NetFlix about a month ago and am almost finished with all 5 seasons already. The new season starts on AMC very soon and my cable company just added AMC to their channel line-up. Looks like Ill be setting my DVR :)
I am buying all Saturn games, PM me with your offerings and I will let you know if I need the game or not! (Everything must be CIB)

Currently trying to knock off all the sports games, would like to get them <$5 each! Of course if you would like to donate them I will gladly pay the shipping! :)

East Bound and Down.

I'm ashamed to admit it, but it has its moments.

the wife and I really liked the first season, but the 2nd season kinda petered out for us, so we didn't finish it.

Believe it or not, my WIFE's favorite line in the first season is some girl at a bar that says:

"Kenny Powers huh? That makes me, how can I put this lightly.... wet in my pussy?"

So ridiculous, but funny delivery.

Eastbound is awesome!

"A gold card will get you Jonas Brothers tickets. A black card will get all three of them sucking your dick."
"I'm listening."

See, that's the thing. "wet pussy" and "sucking your dick" is lazy writing, and there is a ton of lazy writing in Eastbound and Down. Shock value rarely works for me. Not because I'm some tight-assed Christian who can't take it, but as the Coz said "The easiest laugh to get is based on vulgarity". And yes, my stand up does include vulgarity, but it isn't all based on it.

That said, Eastbound usually delivers its vulgarity in great context. I mean, that's what the show is about after all; writing that is being over the top like its main character. A lot of it falls flat to me, but as I posted earlier, the show certainly has its moments.

I really, really wish my wish would come true that we would see another few seasons of My Name Is Earl. I don't care if Jason Lee has gone Scientology crazy. He and his supporting cast were amazing.

The show's more about the performances than the writing, to be sure.

On the subject of HBO shows, I really hope that they follow through with that Bored to Death movie. I miss that show.

The Fresh Prince episode that always leaves me a wreck. It's the one where Will's Dad shows up, ditches him again and ends with Will crying and asking "Why don't he want me man?".

I always well up during this episode.

For an episode of Fresh Prince, it's pretty brutal. It's not "Carlton took drugs" sad, it's "A kid just got his heart crushed" sad.
