Which To Buy: Super Turrican or Mega Turrican?

I made a similar topic in regards to the SNES/Genesis Contra games, but now I'm curious as to which Turrican game to go for. Any suggestions?

I've only played Mega Turrican, so that's the game I'm going to recommend.

I've actually never played Mega Turrican, but Super Turrican is great. Kinda has Cybernator/Ranger X sorta feel.

I've played both and both feel to floaty or slippery for me.
Option C: get the other Contra game you didn't get before instead.

Well I'm messing around with both roms, and I'm already turned off by the plasma rope in Mega Turrican. I'm finding it really hard to control.

I agree, it makes the one in Super Metroid seem easy to use. I find that Mega Turrican is also full of cheap shots. It's not as bad as the first one or a game like Realm...but it's frustrating to me.
