Time to look at some more games that never got released abroad in their time. Oh. And the Twin Famicom as well.
Game Sack - Left in Japan 4 + The Sharp Twin Famicom

'Norey no Fahn'
I've been kind of thinking about the Famicom Disc System recently, but after watching this video, I think I can fairly comfortably say, screw that. Bokutte Upa looks pretty interesting though. The video quality looked pretty good too. That couldn't have just been the composite out, could it? Was that sound filtering just an issue with Famicom carts, 'cause "Bloody Tears" sounded fantastic.
Also, from what I could gather from those intro segments, the story in Gekisha Boy is about a kid who goes to school for photography. The "boss" seems to be a professor who's sending him out on an exam.
I really hate it when import only games make me want a system.

For the Famicom Zelda, the mic was used for the "Pol's Voice". Since we had no mic, their weakness was changed to arrows here.
I wasn't prepared for the ending.

Yeah that was the composite out of the Twin Famicom and NES (for the other Famicom games). The rest of the show used s-video for their respective systems. As for the audio I can only assume that the FDS audio is also filtered. I don't have a non-Twin FDS system so I don't know how it would sound in comparison.pierrot wrote:The video quality looked pretty good too. That couldn't have just been the composite out, could it? I'm hooked on this show. I just found out it existed a week ago and have been catching up with this showed up in my subbox.
Good shiz man.
Though am I concerned the Sega Copyright police will see the Saturn Video and Flag it for the Evil 10 seconds of Shining Force footage.

It's too bad "GAME SACK ISSO DOPE" didn't work as well as "DAVEWHITE" in completing Devil's Crush.
I for one also miss the bag "fart" sound which has recently been removed in the intro.
