Mass Effect:
Just stole the Normandy back and finished the last of my side-quests - The 4 Geth bases (I finished all of them minus the collection ones)
Now its off to chase Saren and finish the game.

Up next will be Shining Wisdom (I heard it's short) followed by either Shining in the Darkness or Phantasy Star 4.

Cosmic Fantasy 2

Game came to a screeching halt when I encountered a boss that could kill each of my party members in one hit. Had to grind for about an hour. Beat the boss. Then I had to grind for another 45 minutes once I got to the next town to afford the best equipment. Things have finally picked up now. I had some space-traveling boy and girl join my party - I think they're characters from the first game (which I haven't played).

I glanced at a walkthrough and it looks as if I'm at the final save point. Nothing left but the final dungeon + final boss, though it wouldn't surprise me if I had to toss in another hour of grinding first just to proceed. Hopefully I can finish the game in one more play session.

Oh, and for those of you who have never played a Working Designs game or 1990s CD RPG, check out this cutscene.

Persona 4, I captured Mitsuo (sp?) and got a trophy labeled "Game Over", but the game seems to be continuing anyway, what's the deal? More to come or just hang out with your friends if you want?

More to come. "Game Over" refers to you ending Mitsuo's game.

Cosmic Fantasy 2 is done! I thought I had an epic final dungeon awaiting me, but I cleared the thing in about 10 minutes. Final boss wasn't too tough, I was probably a bit overleveled.

The ending was very, very sad:
The girl you've been fighting to save ends up dying!
So how do I feel about the game overall? Check the Games Beaten thread!

Finished Mass Effect Sunday and started Shining Wisdom.
I played SW for about an hour and finished the first dungeon (the castle) and am heading to the first town.

I lied about staying out of this thread. Though I still do kick chairs whenever I think about Phantasy Star II.

SB, I started on Shining Wisdom myself a couple months ago and only put about, I don't know... 3 hrs into it? I'm further than you, but maybe I'll pick it up again soon if you're going to be playing through it too.

So Shining Wisdom was published by Working Designs instead of Sega themselves? Interesting. I'll have to give that game a go someday. I haven't played too much of the Shining series I'm sorry to say. I think when I do I'd like to start right with the first title - Shining in the Darkness.
