My mom sometimes buys packs of chicken legs and cooks them up like wings. They don't taste exactly the same as wings, but it cuts the mustard and it's really cheap.

Nothing right now, but I'm making chicken soup with a leftover carcass for the first time. Nothing fancy. Just added some carrots and onion, that's all. We'll see how it goes. I feel like a granny... ^^

EDIT That was easy. Soup was ok...

I KNOW! And I'm an absolute SUCKER for Samoas (or the more 'pc' name Caramel deLites).

I could eat a box of those at a time. The flaky coconut, the stringy caramel...Too bad they contain a days worth of fat intake in two cookies. The Keebler Elves don't have jack on the girl scouts.

Had Bockwurst on Saturday, and meatloaf and green beans cooked in the pressure cooker with a ham hock last night. I know meatloaf isn't typically a fan favorite, but I've never heard anyone complain about mine. Simple. Meat, eggs, saltine crumbs, spices, tomato sauce, spices, laid out flat, covered in cheddar, rolled like a swiss cake roll and topped with more tomato sauce and cheese.

Atlantic Salmon tonight. Not farm raised, not juiced up with food colorings; just salmon.

Sure, they are more "chicken nuggets" than they are wings, but they are a lot cheaper and healthier.
I do the same but with Louisiana Hotsauce.

Their Chipotle and Garlic Hotsauces are just awesome, their stock one aint bad either. My wife got really mad when I told her I wanted to fix the hole in the counter of our kitchen by putting in a hotsauce pump - Louisiana will sell you a gallon of hotsauce in a tub that is standard pump compatible. The hole was for a second microwave and it ran off the same plug as the dishwasher so it had to go.

I'm a Tabasco man myself.

I stole an idea from the Fresh Prince and keep it in a spray bottle. Works for equal displacement* and distribution of deliciousness.

Tabasco is alittle too sweet for me on most things. It is a standby no doubt, but Louisiana hits that perfect sweet, hot, savory mix for me. Its also dirt cheap...
