This is the white ps3 that should have been released here stateside.

I wanted one of these so bad. Sony never releases the colors we actually want, though. At least, not when we want them.

This is getting expensive... But alas. I MUST spite those that bought a Wii U thinking it was actually going to be more power/reliable.

That and I really like Sony 1st party games. They are the best in the Biz.

I've been lucky enough to have owned all 4 of the fat systems in all the various colors. IMO, the silver was the best one because it was not a gloss color (which would scratch easily) I also liked the Metal Gear Solid gun metal grey console. That was also a non-gloss color, but unlike the other colors it was release in the U.S. (Too bad it was a super limited release.)

I fail to understand why Sony doesn't give U.S consumers a choice in color until way late in the model run. Even with the Playstation 2, silver didn't come out in the U.S until the slim model, even though they had all kinds of colored fat versions in Japan & Europe.

I might pick up the Ni no Kuni Gold PS3 Slim next month.

I got one of these yesterday, since ol' reliable broke down, and it looks pretty good in person. The free year of Playstation Plus is going to be great. Vanquish is free right now, and it was the first game I was planning to get.
