I agree. I love places like that. Most things are overpriced, but some things...

Does it feel awkward when you notice a bunch of people picking up a certain game, then you find yourself buying the same item within a few days?

Anyway, there's a new Goodwill in my town, its only been there few a few months by now and as such, I haven't really found much there. Today I went in randomly, most of the other thrifts were closed, but I managed to find a few items to take home.

I went to my local Gamestops today, and picked up all their copies of Too Human (8) at $2.99 ea! BECAUSE COLLECTING IS FUN!

And they were cleaning out, so I got some posters!

My favorite pawnshop has flat out amazing deals.
PS2/GC/Xbox games only $2
360/Wii/PS3/PSP/DS games only $8
Gameboy -$5

Plus they apparently give you bonus credit with each purchase. I get a couple bucks off every few trips.

Actually trying to get in good with some of the sales reps so i can see their stock room. They keep about 500+ games out on a shelf and every time I go in there the shelf has been freshly restocked. So I can only imagine the glory that is hidden in their back room.

Nice. Several of the pawn shop chains in Charlotte were practically giving away PS2 and Xbox games last year. ($1 each!!!) I picked up a ton of great games...but, unfortunately, this means that there isn't much left for me to pick through. (I stopped by one the other day and they had hundreds of complete PS2 and Xbox sports games for $0.50...I guess that you can't even give those away...)

Here in Maine, Bull Moose Music sells all their N64 games at $6.97. It sucks if you just wanna grab a copy of Blades of Steel 99, but it's amazing if you happen to find a copy of Ogre Battle 64.

NES games are $2.97, Genesis, Master System, and SNES are $3.97, most Atari games are $1.97 (except for Activision games and other "fancier" looking titles which are marked up to $2.97), I think that covers it... Only disc games are priced individually.

A place here that used to have flat pricing used to actually price disc-based games based on how many discs they had. Seemed really strange to me.

I've seen that too...At those places, a "Greatest Hits" copy of Syphon Filter 2 (PS1) costs more than Tomba! (PS1).
