I would like to put forward the original Phantasy Star Online soundtrack cd (http://vgmdb.net/album/1616). It's just one disc, so doesn't contain every piece of music from the Dreamcast game, but there is absolutely no filler and the two bonus "wind orchestra" tracks are very nice arrangements of the opening and ending themes. The 2 disc Episode I&II soundtrack (http://vgmdb.net/album/397), released with the Gamecube & Xbox update of the game, includes the missing music from the Dreamcast original, along with the excellent new area and boss music from GC/Xbox exclusive Episode II, but there are a couple of filler tracks such as the versus music (same as the Spaceship and Temple music) and the lala versions of the opening and ending themes (not as good as the lyric versions) so overall I think the original release is stronger.
Beat me to it. This is a fantastic sountrack by an incredible composing team. However I disagree in one area. The Spaceship and Temple tracks are great by how they integrate music from the first Phantasy Star games on Genesis/Mega Drive and Master System.

The Soundtrack that came with Zelda Skyward Sword is pretty epic. I would add this to the list
I am buying all Saturn games, PM me with your offerings and I will let you know if I need the game or not! (Everything must be CIB)

Currently trying to knock off all the sports games, would like to get them <$5 each! Of course if you would like to donate them I will gladly pay the shipping! :)

I was all WTF, why did Dave make a top 100 thread, but then I saw it was older. Anyway, Einhander is already on there but let's add the Chaosfield Sound Track. The link to the CV box seems to be broken and I guess it would be in there, but I liked the SOTN soundtrack enough to pay $40 for it back in the day (well, other than that terrible, awful, no good vocal ending song that doens't fit at all). Akumajo Dracula~Gekka no Nocturne.

Oh I'm not saying the music itself is filler. Only that the music is featured multiple times on the Episode I&II soundtrack. On disc 1 as versus music and again on disc 2 as area music. I never played the original Phantasy Star games but when I found out about the composition of Tricktrack about a year ago it really impressed me.

Ah, now I get what you're saying. My bad! Also, these soundtracks fetch a pretty fair sum nowadays, which I think are a good point as to why they should be included.

Wild Arms Original Game Soundtrack

While my vote goes to the original soundtrack, for any fans of the game there was also an official OC Remix project a while back.

Double Dragon Neon - A great 80s sounding track. This one is more fun and nostalgic though, trying to capture the fun feel of the game. It's really a celebration of the 80s in all its neon glory. Unlike Hotline Miami, these are actual songs with vocals and high production value. It's easy to picture an actual 80s music vid for these songs

Starfox - Yeah, that's right, the original Starfox

... C7846C3146
Wet - Sounds like something out of Tarantino/Rodriguez flick

Lollipop Chainsaw - Perfect fusion of a traditional video game score and great, licensed tunes. You got the best of both worlds with this game, and it was all excellent. Nice mix of styles too, including indie, metal, and pop. One of the few game soundtracks that embodies the essence of the word "cool" to me. There is an official soundtrack for this, but it seems to be missing some of the best tracks

The Dishwasher Vampire Smile

The Dishwasher Dead Samurai

Glad to see Hotline Miami made it on here, so good.
