By ar the best album I have heard since I started listening:
Out Run 20th Anniversary Soundtrack.
11 CDs (!) including the complete soundtracks for OutRun, Turbo OutRun, OutRunners and OutRun 2, including the versions heard in remakes, SMS, Megadrive and Saturn games. And Shenmue and the Sega Nocturne soundtrack. And tracks from the Turbografx and tracks from Crackin'DJ.
Just amazing. Shame it's high number of discs means it's expensive.
Also, vocal versions rock:

I would like to put forward the original Phantasy Star Online soundtrack cd (http://vgmdb.net/album/1616). It's just one disc, so doesn't contain every piece of music from the Dreamcast game, but there is absolutely no filler and the two bonus "wind orchestra" tracks are very nice arrangements of the opening and ending themes. The 2 disc Episode I&II soundtrack (http://vgmdb.net/album/397), released with the Gamecube & Xbox update of the game, includes the missing music from the Dreamcast original, along with the excellent new area and boss music from GC/Xbox exclusive Episode II, but there are a couple of filler tracks such as the versus music (same as the Spaceship and Temple music) and the lala versions of the opening and ending themes (not as good as the lyric versions) so overall I think the original release is stronger.
