I'm gonna offend someone, but Robyn's stuff just doesn't do it for me. Not really the voices I fall in love with, but I love those two tracks regardless. The entire Junior album is just like stuffing my ear holes with chocolate melodies, for me. I started forgetting that Melody A.M. even existed after that album came out. 'Vision One' is one of my favorite tracks from anyone, anywhere, ever. I'm constantly cranking the bass and preamp on it.

Short documentary piece on the early raver hardcore scene in Essex, including some early Prodigy:

Drum n Bass emerged (in part) out of the early 90s hardcore scene. It's all about piano vamps, hoover blares, drum rolls, and positive vibes. Here are a few choice examples:

Acen: Trip II The Moon
Prodigy: Charly
Sonz of a Loop da Loop Era: Peace & Loveism
Cloud 9: You Got Me Burnin
2 Bad Mice: Hold It Down
Hyper On Experience: Lords of the Null Lines
Cosmo and Dibs: Star Eyes

I know. Sorry, bro. I seem to live my life unintentionally hating on everything everyone likes. :(

 Awesome.
Would love to see what future civilizations say about that video: 'Look what those savages did to that poor bird!'

Also, found the song that was in that video, so I guess I don't have to give up any of my internets. (Which is good, because I'm pretty sure I need those.) How to make me care more about this song: vocals by Neil Degrasse Tyson. All right, now I'm feeling the Astronomy love, too.

Minnesota - Stardust

And because I read "Prodigy":

I just found out about a genre called "Skweee" that has apparently been around for a few years, but I had never heard of it before.

I like what I'm hearing so far. Chippy. Minimal. Quirky.

Loving the glitchy sounds! That doc you posted was awesome too.

Prefuse 73 - For Some But Not for Me - One of my favorite tracks! I wish it was longer.
