Playing through Pokémon White 2. I've chosen 5 of my 6 team members, but I'm clueless what to use for a 6th. Kinda want a fast attacker with a sleep move.

I've started playing through The Witcher 2 on PC. I have a couple copies (PC/Xbox) so figured I should probably actually play it.....

I really wish there was a way to mod in the radial controls from the Xbox version. Anyone know of a mod to do that?

I love The 7th Saga. If you're looking for an incredibly difficult "Western" JRPG with a great atmosphere, give it a go. It's definitely an acquired taste, but I enjoyed it immensely.

I'd like to check out some of those "lesser-known" games you mentioned later this year. They tend to be cheaper than the well-known titles, which is nice.

I do own Eye of the Beholder and Drakkhen. Eye of the Beholder is okay... It's a Western RPG (D&D) of course, I'd honestly rather just play the Abandonware DOS version.

Drakkhen is kinda cool, but my god is it weird. You have to go into it with the right mindset. It's hard to explain - play it and you'll see what I mean. The game's sequel, Dragon View, is also on the SNES though I haven't played it.

Paladin's Quest is a game I'd like to try some day - seems like it could be a hidden gem. The sequel, Lennus II, is also on the SNES but it's Japan-only (there is an English ROM hack though).

I really can't get enough of SNES RPGs...
I loved Ys III. I don't know if it's true that the SNES port is the worst version, but I thought it was a wonderful and enjoyable experience that was very different from the RPGs I'm used to playing, even on the console.

I do own 7th Saga but have never given it a concentrated push. In fact, I own several RPGs that I haven't really tried out beyond testing the cartridge. That was part of the reason why I was wondering what of the lesser known titles should I look into. For instance, should I play Robotrek next, or should I spend time in Arcana?

Admittedly though, I've gone back to play through a classic I've only spent a tiny amount of time with: Secret of Mana.

Oddly enough, Ys III for the SNES is the only RPG I have in my miniscule RPG collection that I have not really played a lot of. I played a little bit of it, but the lack of hit detection and wonky movements (Adol walks WAY too fast) kinda frustrated me (I don't know if the other versions of Ys III suffer from the same problem though). I'm going to try again later tonight because I do have an RPG on the way but it hasn't even shipped yet and I have no idea when it'll get here so I gotta bide my time until then. Plus I need some momentum after finishing Ocarina of Time (via the Gamecube Collector's Edition disc).

Theres also Ys: The Oath of Felghana (In relation to Ys III), which is suppose to be some type of remake/spinoff of some sorts (I never played Ys III yet). But I'm still just scratching the surface on this one but would like to go through with it soon. :)
