I can confirm seeing (new) copies in Toys R Us stores in Canada, and one other store selling them too, but I can't recall which now - probably FutureShop? Was surprised to see Xenoblade in those locations, but both stores had stock. [Edit: Note the past tense. Haven't seen a copy recently.]
Maybe Nintendo and/or EB Games sold copies to other retailer to clean out excess stock? That would explain why it's getting quite hard to find now.

There are still a couple of Gamestops down here that have them in stock (or, at least that's what Mr. Internet is telling me.) The store closest to me had one in stock a couple of weeks ago as well, so I know they're still out there.
The people who still want it are going to have to be really diligent about looking or do what CRT does and beg a Gamestop employee to ship one to their store.
Makes me want to pre-order Pandora's Tower right now, even though it's not exclusive to any one retailer.

She's from Canada and that must be true there, but I haven't seen anyone say otherwise for the US.

It's definitely true in Canada -- Future Shop is where I bought my copy from!
My understanding was that it spread in the US too, but judging from the comments that doesn't seem to be the case.
I've seen copies at Future Shop, Best Buy and Wal-Mart personally. As I think I mentioned in the other thread, if I'd known the demand was going to be this high....but since it spread out from being GameStop exclusive I didn't think it was an issue.
