Not my typical genre so I wasn't familiar but the videos are really good (three parts).

I'd really like to try this game...but I see comments from people who accuse it of being a lame console knock-off of classic PC adventure games. That's disappointing, if true. For instance, Dynamix's Rise of the Dragon is also on the Sega CD, and that started life as a true PC adventure game (published by Sierra).

That said, anybody interested in this game should probably check out the futuristic Blade Runner PC adventure game based on the Ridley Scott movie. I've played that and it rocks!

that's selling the game short. Policenauts is really cool. Have you played Snatcher, MetalJ?

The PSX patches that came out to have the game in English are amazing. A huge venture by the guys who worked that.

I've only played the intro to Policenauts, but it sets up pretty fantastically. I mean to play the Saturn port of Snatcher before I get into Policenauts, though. I feel like both of those games could really give one a glimpse into the ire and frustration of Kojima over modern gaming trends. MGS Rising looks to be so hyper-violent that he just went, 'Yeah, take this you meat-headed dullards. You want gore and violence? I will give you gore and violence.'

Policenauts has such an awesome story. The gameplay is a bit slow, even by P&C standards, but its blend of cyberpunk and buddy cop make it really entertaining. I loved it from start to finish.
