Sorry to revive thread, but I have a question.
Does anyone know or have a resource that shows the amount of government spending on gun control/illegal weapons tracking/etc. Basically, how much are we spending to keep illegal guns off the streets and legal guns out of the hands of people who shouldn't have them? All I've found is some projected numbers on the ATF budget, which deals with other things, and is not the only group involved in gun control.
