Oh it totally is...

But PAL only means I'm not gonna find it in record store discount bins or on the thrift store shelves here in Maine.

Hey now, from that lot Line of Fire, Space Gun, and Time Soldiers are good. Chuck Rock is ok. The earlier ones are mostly terrible, but some later ones are ok. Power Strike II and Rescue Mission good too IMHO.

that's a real good price for a nice batch of stuff.

if your AC adapter is taped together, but still works, use Gorilla Glue around the edges and let it dry overnight. you can be pretty liberal with it as the excess on the outside will pick off pretty easily once it's dry, but the inside will stay connected. i've refurbished a few of these like this, and they've all passed the "drop test."

The only problem with that is if you ever need to open it for a repair.

there are solvents to remove it, the seal is not impenetrable and obviously it's not going to last forever. it just looks a lot nicer than a big roll of duct tape around it.

You'd be surprised...I have acquired my SMS collection exclusively from pawn shops, thrift stores, and Craigslist, and I have three PAL games in my collection (American Pro Footbal, Tennis Ace, and a PAL copy of Rescue Mission).

Fair enough.

I did snag a PAL Starcraft from a New Hampshire Goodwill last year for 99 cents.
