Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

eggman wrote:Hello everyone! Just officially joined the forum. Love the site and the discussions going on over here. Really enjoying listening to the back catalog of Podcasts too.

I am a long time gamer. First system I ever owned was a Sega MegaDrive (Genesis) back in the late eighties/early nineties when i was growing up. I have owned and played numerous systems since. I currently own a Dreamcast, PS2, Game Boy Advance and a Wii. I am a British ex-patriot and have lived in North Carolina for the past 10 years.

I look forward to learning new stuff about retro gaming and expanding my horizons over here. I am just getting into collecting and have seen a lot of inspiring stuff on the site.

Thanks

David
welcome!

But is it cool if I still call you Robotnik?

Hello all. I've been collecting games for the last 6 years. My collection mostly consists of This current Gen, and the previous generation's games, however I am working a lot on building up my retro collection. I got a large amount of rare Japanese game consoles that I hope to sell or trade for other things after 2 weeks when I'll be allowed to post in the Buy sell trade board.

Hello Everyone!
I am jay_red's newly wedded wife. Decided to join since my husband spends so much time on here and since a fellow racket boy member suggest I create my own account.

I have been gaming since I was 5, starting with the Sega Genesis. My dad was in the Navy and we were stationed over seas in Japan for 10 years. Being an only child, my parents had to keep me entertained somehow and video games became the solution. Some of my earliest memories of childhood was playing with the Menacer light gun, and my mom always getting the highest score on Ready Aim Tomatoes.

My great love though was the Nintendo 64. I still remember the first time I saw it in action with good old Mario 64, I had never seen anything so real looking in all my 8 years of life. Being an only child, and being a girl, my dad almost ALWAYS bought me what ever video game I wanted(I think to encourage this "masculine" hobby). This resulted in an abundance of N64 games, any PC game I ever asked for, and a PS2 that started my addiction to RPG's.

Currently playing The World Ends with You, but have been getting into fighting games more, particularly Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom and King of Fighters XIII.

Thank you for reading and excited to officially be apart of the comunity! (not pretending to be part of it vicariously through my husband)

In case you haven't seen our video game wedding pics we've been published on 2 sites:

Well I kinda joined this site a couple months ago and just jumped in without introducing myself haha.

Im 21 years old, I am a die-hard Sega collector and have every Sega system aside from the Nomad. I love video gaming and networking with fellow collectors. I am a self proclaimed authority on the Sega Game Gear (haha) so you can PM me with any questions!
I am buying all Saturn games, PM me with your offerings and I will let you know if I need the game or not! (Everything must be CIB)

Currently trying to knock off all the sports games, would like to get them <$5 each! Of course if you would like to donate them I will gladly pay the shipping! :)

22 and from Northern NJ. I've always been a fan of Retro games. I've lately started getting more into it due to the newer generation games not being that great. I'm currently collecting for Super Nintendo/ Super Famicom. I own a few boxed SNES games, including Chrono Trigger and Super Metroid.

Happy to be apart of this great community :D
