Anyone have this model or suggestions for a LED Samsung this size? My room is medium lit, not too bright.

The LG looked perfect out of the box, but like my LCD 32" Samsung, looks like I need to optimize this new one a bit for it to look right.

Also the jump from 60hz to 120 is very... weird, lol. Hopefully I get used to it.
Yeah, it shouldn't look weird.

First order of business, turn off the active-smoothing. It's inserting frames where it thinks there should be extra frames. It's awful.

Next, plug in a PC and play a game at 120fps and notice how great 120hz can be if the frames are actually there.
Older. Not wiser.

Would that be in Picture Options -> Auto Motion Plus? "Enhances motion in fast moving scenes".

LED Motion Plus is below that, set to off.

The issue so far is that I've noticed things look foggy (been playing Nier which admittedly isn't the best looking game ever, but yeah it looked really good and vivid on the LG). I think maybe the lighting like with sunlight in games or something too is kind of funky.

Here's all my settings after seeing some suggestions, but still isn't perfect for me:
Backlight: 20
Contrast: 100
Brightness: 40
Sharpness: 35
Color: 40
Tint: 50/50

Color Space: Native
White Balance: Default
Gamma: 0
Dynamic Contrast: High
Black Tone: Off
Flesh Tone: 0
Motion Lighting: Off

Color Tone: Standard
Size: 16:9
Digital Noise Filter: Auto
HDMI Black Level: Low
Film Mode: Off
Auto Motion Plus: ???
LED Motion Plus: Off

Worth noting the 360 looks decent this way, but not the PS3 so far, and PS2 via component looks kind of dry or something.

This is annoying lol.

120Hz is awesome...now you can watch 24fps movies properly!

(seriously...
60/24=2.5
120/24=5
meaning...
no more
tearing or
pulldown)

Lucky you for having a computer that can play games at 120fps. Mine struggles to keep it above 15.

Alright, Nier must just be very flat and gray looking in general. Everything else on my PS3 is starting to look pretty good, tried some Sonic demo's (good look at colors) and some PSX games, looking pretty good now:

Standard
Backlight: 20
Contrast: 90
Brightness: 45
Sharpness: 35
Color: 50
Tint: 50/50

Color Space: Auto
White Balance: Default
Gamma: 0
Dynamic Contrast: High (he had this off but it looks a lot better to me)
Black Tone: Dark (might mess with this)
Flesh Tone: 0 (he had this at 4)
Motion Lighting: Off

Color Type: Standard
Size: 16:9
Digital Noise Filter: Off
HDMI Black Level: Low
Film Mode Off
Auto Motion Plus: Custom, 7/5 (might turn this off again?)
LED Motion Plus: Off

My computer isn't that great actually, lol. But I want to dual monitor for anime and stuff sometime... admittedly I might cave and get a new PC this year with my tax return, heh.

But yeah once I get used to the 120hz I probably won't be able to go back. I'd say it's probably like playing some PS2 era FPS's on a PS2, then playing them on a PC with vastly improved resolutions and framerate, so it's a way better experience.
