Too early to start talking about rare/valuable Wii games?

It's widely available now at Gamestop but that will definitely change. You won't be able to get Klonoa on the Wii for $9.99 ($8.99 PUR) complete a few years from now. It doesn't even go for that much complete on Amazon. I don't think this will reach insane prices like some of the other titles that have been mentioned but might as well get it cheap now.

At $9.99 getting Klonoa is a no brainer just for the fun gameplay itself. But IMHO I could still see the game being available online years from now for no more than say $15.

Dokapon Kingdom seems to have crashed in price on Ebay recently - copies can now be easily had for $30.

Every GameStop in my area has this game in stock as a used game but the copies look brand new. They probably did a secret reprint for whatever odd reason.

Pretty senseless to me. I really wish they would start taking retro stuff as trade - a quick Ebay search would show them just how much money could be made. Even a collector-oriented environment would be completely awesome to see...but no, they want to focus on selling Ipods, Iphones, and pre-kindergarten hardware.

Some do, for sure, but when I say "retro", I mean everything from 2600 all the way up to present day. It's pretty unlikely people would be trading in complete NES and SNES games on a regular basis, and even if they did, a quick Ebay search would show just how much of a premium complete games go for. Obviously, if EB were to start taking retro as trade, a change in policy would have to be implemented too, starting with keeping the boxes and manuals for older games. It won't happen, but I wish it would.
