What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I'd say below both together. I love both Kill Bill movies by themselves, but together they make a very strong whole. Like Luke, I'd probably have to watch them both back to back, and then watch Unchained again to give a solid opinion if I were going to separate the two.
yeah, well I am a educator, so what do you want?
I know. That's why I thought it was so great
dsheinem wrote: I'd say

1. Pulp Fiction
2. Reservoir Dogs
3. Hypothetical Kill Bill 1+2
4. Django Unchained
5. Kill Bill 2
6. Death Proof
7. Kill Bill 1
8. Jackie Brown
9. Inglorious Basterds

Each one is an excellent film, of course!
Of course! I wouldn't consider there to be a bad one in the bunch. Rating them is a really touch decision, though. If I had to choose right now, it'd probably be:

1. Kill Bill Vol. 1+2
2. Django Unchained
3. Death Proof
4. Pulp Fiction
5. Inglorious Bastards
6. Reservoir Dogs

If I was forced to separate them, it'd be:

1. Kill Bill Vol. 1 (Lucy Liu as O-Ren will win every time. Every. Time.)
2. Django Unchained
3. Death Proof
4. Pulp Fiction
5. Kill Bill Vol. 2
6. Inglorious Bastards
7. Reservoir Dogs

Keep in mind that I haven't seen Reservoir Dogs in a long time.

I must note that I don't think I've seen Jackie Brown. It sounds familiar and parts of the trailer look really familiar, but I can't remember if I've seen it for the life of me. If I have, and my memory is just currently failing me, then I blame it on my tendency to watch movie's late into the night. I was bound to forget a couple of those late night viewings sooner or later

Was it putting Kill Bill at the top, Reservoir Dogs at the bottom, or Pulp Fiction smack-dab in the middle :P

To be honest I didn't like it. It's way too surreal and unfocused in every way to actually convey it's message about social and moral degradation after a natural disaster.

Also, the director also wrote Kids (I liked Kids but Larry Clark's and Korine's films always feel insanely... creepy since it usually focuses on nudity from characters that are underage. Hell, Ken Clark has unsimulated sexual activity from characters that are supposedly less than 17. The actor's aren't that young but still...) and the upcoming Spring Breakers with... Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson and James Franco  .

You noticed

Also, there is no "D" option, so "All of the above" is not a valid response.

-1 point.

Michi, you rule haha. Kill Bill(s) would be my top. If I HAD to choose, I'd put 2 above 1 though. But I love that you rank Death Proof so high. I fucking love that movie. I would put Pulp Fiction above it myself, but still... I'm proud of you man.

--> when do I get to tell you what movie you're watching for charity?

...

So my wife is officially a TMNT fan now.

I had gotten her to see the first movie like a year ago, and she liked it. But last night we finished the first season of the original cartoon, and watched the third movie (we watched the 2nd last week). It's just funny that she's really into the whole story now. She's already asking when we can pick up Season 2, and she's lamenting that there's no CD score for the cartoon.

Season two is the best.

If she enjoys the cartoons, you should pick up the old TMNT comics that were sold under the Archie label. They follow the cartoon fairly closely for a few episodes, then go in a completely different direction. Fun reads.
