Oddworld: Abe's Exodus

Post by Lazer »

I just starting playing this game again, and I gotta say: It's awesome! The music rules, the graphics are great and the gameplay rocks. Any game where one of the buttons is "fart" is good in my book. This is the only Oddworld game I have played. Are the others any good? I know Stranger's Wrath is supposed to be cool. Anyone an Oddworld fan?

I haven't played Munch's, but the rest of the Oddworld games I've played I've enjoyed immensely.

Be sure to check out Beavis and Butthead on the Genesis then. Oh, and Boogerman.

God, I feel dirty.

I'm in the same boat as you- I loved oddworld back when it came out on the ps1. I can't remember if i beat it or not. If i didn't, I got pretty far into it. Just downloaded that and the sequal. Picked up stranger's wrath and Munch the other day for xbox at a total of 4 dollars. Even if the games are shit- you can't beat that price.

man... too many games, too little time.

Avoid Munch. That game is to fun as Halo is to sleeper.

I hope you enjoy it more than I did. Stranger's Wrath is supposed to be good, but I haven't played it so I can't be sure. Let me know if you think I should pick it up.

Abe's Oddysee is a must play for you.

Well, it's logical, seeing as Exodus is the sequal of Oddysee.
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.

Never got around to playing Exodus but Abe's Odyssey was definitely excellent. I recommend anybody try that game out. I might go back and try finishing it sometime.

exodus is great. odessy not so much becaus it lacks a quicksave and it's a pain having to redo the same part 10 times to get all mudokons and avoid getting killed
