Cheap megadrive imports?

what are some cheap megadrive imports, either japan only or ones that are signifigantly cheaper than their american counterparts and are easy to play without knowing japanese?

How "cheap"? Monster World IV is a must, in my opinion. It's not particularly cheap, though.

Darwin 4081 is a decent shooter, and doesn't cost too much. Dangerous Seed. (Same.)

If you wanted some heavy text RPGs, there's Sorcerian and Bahamut Senki; Both very cheap. Other text-heavies: Eiyuu Densetsu I / II, Dragon's Eye Plus.

Battle Golfer Yui: I think it might be a wolfteam game, but I've never played it, nor do I imagine it's very good.

Magical Taruruuto kun is a relatively inexpensive, colorful platformer.

Ragna Centy (Crusader of Centy) is quite a bit cheaper than the US release. Plus, clam-shell box.


Most of the good JP exclusives are triple digits money. Some other good stuff is a little bit cheaper. (Yuu Yuu Hakusho, Gouketsuji.) There really aren't that many JP games that are significantly cheaper than their US counterparts while not being particularly text laden, either.
