Apparently we get an eshop demo for Fire Emblem tomorrow.

Re: Nintendo 3DS
Cool!
So, having lots of fun with RE: Revelations. It reminds me a lot of 4... but with better scenery. I wish I could use control method C in a southpaw mode (face buttons to move and analog to aim) but the digital controls aren't too frustrating.
Though, I will say the 3D effect in this game disappoints. It looks like a collage. It's much more in line with what I was expecting when I first bought the system. Super Mario 3D Land it is not. Kinda disappointing, because 3D land showed me just how cool the 3D effect could be.
I tried the Rayman Origins 3DS demo and man does the low resolution screen show it's problems with that game. A blurry and awful mess that definitely does not show off the beauty that game has. The dpad is a pain to use for extended periods too.
Then I tried the MGS demo. Very good 3D effect, but, the framerate is trash and it's not a very good looking game. Oh well.

I don't even play with the 3D on anymore. lol.
I was going to get Revelations but I'm holding out for the rumored HD console edition. I don't want to have to purchase a Circle Pad Pro.

I just bought RE Revelations because it's cheap on amazon right now... Code of Princess is going for $36 atm.. Wasn't it $30 at launch?

Well, so far it's certainly not required and plays just fine. It's not one of those games where super precise aiming is unnecessary. I'm only about an hour-hour and a half in, but, there's ammo everywhere and none of the enemies seem to pose much of a threat.Opa Opa wrote:I don't even play with the 3D on anymore. lol.

Either way, I'm playing on an XL so even if I wanted the pro I couldn't use it.

Re: Nintendo 3DS
Code of Princess was $40. There hasn't been a 3DS game to retail for over $40 (except when Capcom tried to pull some shit and sell Revelations for $50... then they dropped the price right before release.)EvilRyu2099 wrote:I just bought RE Revelations because it's cheap on amazon right now... Well, we probably won't be getting a CPP XL anyway.Either way, I'm playing on an XL so even if I wanted the pro I couldn't use it.

This Code of Princess game looks suspiciously like Guardian Heroes.

Play it, it's a lot of fun.
One of my first graders told me she created a Mii of me last night on her 3DS.
