I don't give a crap what it's on, if it's a remake/re-release of FFVI, I'm on it. It's my favorite game in the series, and needs more of the love SquareEnix gives FFIV.

Square probably doesn't want people to realize that whatever it's "best game in the series" did, it's predecessor did first, and all it did was add FMVs, 3D graphics, and spiky hair

According to siliconera about the dlc:

The in-game shop will allow the player to buy 35 “famous characters” from a number of Final Fantasy games. The catch is that you won’t be able to choose who to buy—you’ll get a random character, and each one costs $0.99.



Finally, additional stages from Final Fantasy VII, X and XIII will be available for purchase, too. These cost $3.99 each.

Strange purchase method for characters... I guess it is a ploy to get you to purchase multiple characters until you get your favorites.

It looks interesting, but the not able to walk around on the overworld they showed, makes me less interested.

Watched the trailer... Doesn't seem to have anything to do with FFVI except that it uses the same graphical style.
