Favorite VS game?

Toss up between Capcom Vs Tatsunoko and Marvel vs Capcom. Both are just solid games that I can always throw in and have a ball with for a few hours.

The first Marvel VS Capcom, I have issues with the small roster and Onslaught being a bitch.

I prefer the small roster since the characters are fairly balanced for casual play. Onslaught is a bitch though. If I was still in college and had people around me who played fighting games constantly, Id probably go for one of the bigger roster games, but most of my fighting game time is against the CPU since my wife does not like fighters.

Marvel VS Capcom and Both versions of Marvel VS Capcom I have roster issues with. The Capcom side is usually ok but whoever picks the Rosters for the Marvel side....... UGH the ONLY Reason I got 3 and U3 is because of Deadpool. So many Marvel Characters I'd love to see in the VS Series being Ignored, The Hood, Mystique, Doc Ock, Mephisto, Emma Frost, The Fantastic Four HOW CAN THEY IGNORE THE FANTASTIC FOUR? How about Bucky? Red Skull (Pair up Red Skull and Wesker and that's instant win)

My favorite is probably Marvel Vs Capcom 1. I thought MvsC2 was too frantic with 3 characters and I'm not a fan of 3 or U3. Just too much going on. I have Xmen Vs Street Fighter in one of my cabs, and I love that game. But yeah I'd have to say original Marvel Vs Capcom is my favorite.

Capcom Vs SNK (2) would be my pick.

Though I don't know how Street Fighter X Tekken is "unfinished" or what on-disc DLC has to do with the quality of the game itself. I didn't buy any of the DLC characters, and I still consider it one of my absolute favorite games of 2012.

I have not played it enough to make an informed decision, but it is on my gaming pc and will eventually be in a cab at my house.

I loved it. Super fun game. Feels like SF4, a bunch of interesting characters from the Namco side, and BTW the roster is pretty huge without adding any DLC characters so I never felt like I had "half a game" or anything. I actually pre-ordered it which is something I don't do often, and I had lots of fun with it and felt I got my money's worth out of it.

Around that time actually was when I started messing around with Mugen again.
