Ok, I reviewed XBMC, like what I see (especially the movie section). What do I need to buy, and what hard drive should I get? I want a 500GB one for the system. I'm also getting a clear shell and light kit to go with it. Thanks for your help!executioner wrote:Yes, to all! Get softmod installer deluxe, you can even find pdf guides with screens and step by step instructions. You need a specific game, usb stick and a usb to xbox cable. In all you'll probably spend about $15 maybe. If its seems to complicated for you, vlame has a softmod kid rental:

I'll have to ask him for comission. I think this topic has been covered a lot here, also visit xbox-scene for tutorials:

You have a lot of catching up to do, xbox modding is way ahead of PS2 which is just starting to show its true potential. The good thing is you will be able to enjoy both worlds.

That's as far as I go, still have the standard hdd it came with. As for the PS2 after giving SMS another shot have to say media capabilities are pretty damn good and looking excellent for future versions. Usb support is excellent and so is networking to read shares from the pc.
