What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Frown: Big wigs coming to visit the office on Wednesday. Have to rock the jacket and tie.

If I could wear a suit and tie everyday I would. Just saying "business casual" makes me cringe as I hate going to work looking like I'm going to play golf (I'm also not a fan of golf). There is absolute zero style in wearing a polo and khakis. I've tried, to no avail.

And it isn't a matter of showing off, it's that perception is reality and sometimes looking good makes you feel good. I'll take french cuffs, cuff links, a suit, a tie, a tie clip, and black cap toes over bizcazh every day.


Smile: My wife made the best Pasta Puttanesca I've ever had the joy to eat last night. She's not a bad cook by any means, but I was shocked at how well the meal was prepared. Even the noodles were cooked perfectly.

Frown: I've been scratching my face in my sleep a lot lately. I'm now the not proud owner of a three inch gash on my forehead that sticks out like poop in a punch bowl.

I work in printed t's and cargos. But I agree with Luke that if you're going to up to business casual I'd rather go all the way to a full suit and look awesome.

They're limp, terrible in quality, way overpriced (even the alligator is thinking "You're fucking kidding me right?") and the collars always look like shit. I have no idea why anyone who has vision and owns a mirror would ever even want to wear a polo. And the words "That's a sexy polo" have never left a woman's lips.

But let me tell you how I truly feel...

I actually agree with you that polos are a hideous piece of clothing, Luke, but having to wear a full suit on a two mile walk to work to teach little Japanese kids, during the Tokyo summers, takes all the fun out of wearing a suit pretty damn quickly.


All polos in the world should be burned, though.
