This might be old news to some of you, but I thought I ought to bring this amazing project into focus here.

A fellow who goes by the name LogicDeLuxe has created a patch that can be used on the official Monkey Island Special Editions, to not only extracts the original DOS files, but also adds in the new voiced dialogue from the SE editions! The new files can then be played on ScummVM or DOS.

Now you can experience a version of Monkey Island 1/2 that feels as if they had received a CD talkie edition back in 1993! This is especially cool for the first game, since the SE edition didn't allow the original version to be played with voices.

The results are freakin awesome! Literally a dream come true for me

Yup, that's from beta v0.9. The project has reached it's final version, v1.0.2, since 2012.
Also, if your using ScummVM to play, you can choose to use the SE enhanced music + sound effects, which is nice
