Exercise and proper diet doesn't prevent emphysema. It also doesn't stop you from smelling like an ashtray.

I love the smell of cigarettes. I would seriously buy cigarette scented air fresheners to put in my car if i ever quit. Love it. Emphysema can come at me! I'll wear my oxygen tank and smoke...Hopefully the tank explodes and puts me out of my misery. Lucky Strikes are quite the treat. Love them but they are very very hard to find in my area. And weather or not it prevents emphysema, i don't care. It makes me FEEL healthy.....Even if i am destroying my body with the ciggitys...After all i quit.... 20 times a day...lol!

Indeed. I had a friend in high school that went from smoking cigarettes to cloves. Cloves smell awesome, but they're much worse for you. He thought they were great, until he hacked up blood a few times.

I like the smell of cigarettes too... That is, I like the way a "good" cigarette (ie: Lucky Strikes, Pall Malls, etc) smells while it burns.

The smell of dank stale ass cigarette smoke embedded in plastics and upholstery... Not so much.

Well people that take stuff to pawn shops tend to end up on the wrong side of other bad (addictive) financial decisions such as smoking and drinking a lot.
