That would seriously suck if it were just a re-release of the Classic Collections.

I'd say there's a 90% chance that less than 25% of the compilation will have been previously unreleased on a compilation.

Black Tiger being the first title announced is pretty solid.

Battle Circuit, if anyone hasn't played it, must be played. UPGWADE!!!!!!!!

That picture is a bit hard to see, but I don't see any shadow image of a certain ship from a certain shmup that a certain forum member is quite fond of, imagine the exposure releasing such a game would get

Man....
Now I'm feeling all pessimistic about it. Particularly because I remembered that Capcom makes really stupid decisions these days.

There are so many damned amazing left in the arcade games that they could bring home with this. Fingers are crossed.

What good unlicensed Capcom arcade games haven't already appeared in a compilation? I don't see them spending any more money on a compilation than they have to since they generally aren't big money makers, so the idea of them doing more than slapping stuff they have already ported and/or they have have full rights too seems unlikely to me.

I wonder IF this news is somehow related to the recently trademarked "Fighters Of Capcom" name.

Armored Warriors, Battle Circuit, Red Earth/Warzard, and Dimahoo/Great Mahou Daisakusen are the main concern. There's also Alien vs Predator but that doesn't fit into the unlicensed category. There's also a few games that aren't included in compilations but have bad/drastically different ports if I'm not mistaken, Willow comes to mind. Not that I think this re-release is going to be anything but a re-release, just saying there are some great Capcom arcade games well worth a mention that are not available on consoles.

It honestly blows my mind that Battle Circuit was never ported. I guess they were just too busy porting the bazillion Street Fighter games of this era.
