Love it, but since I ripped on RISES so hard I figured I may as well point out one silly continuity flaw. After Bruce gives his I believe in Dent speech he goes to the balcony of the building and tosses the champagne out of his glass overboard.

Cut to Rachael meeting with Bruce on the balcony, and Bruce's glass has magically been refilled.
What happened to the Joker after Batman jumps out the window to save Rachel? Did he just hang out up there for a while by himself?

After Batman's interrogation scene with the Joker, why did that cop stand guard inside the interrogation room with the Joker?

:P
A prison where the bars are about a foot apart.

A guy who has a cellphone, inside his body, which is a bomb. A tiny bomb capable of blowing up an entire building, but conveniently doesn't kill the Joker.

When arrested, the Joker has about a dozen knives on him. You think they would do a more thorough search, but yet the Joker keeps a cop hostage with, you got it, another knife.

When Batman saves Rachael, they drop at least ten stories and the impact was only an "oomph!".

Why does Batman jumping on a van cause the van to screech to a halt? Wouldn't the Scarecrow simply keep driving?

How does a dog bite injure Batman (when Bats throws the dog it is terribly fake looking) but being ran into a pole not even phase him?

After a huge "upgrade" in armor, Batman still gets stabbed in the stomach by the Joker. You think after that he wouldn't get stabbed in the stomach again, but he does in RISES.

You think after Lt.Wurtz led the Joker into the fundraiser people may question him.

Why would a high ranking government official admit to keeping liquor in his office and actually drink on the job while talking to the commissioner of police?

Why would a judge ignore a joker card when there is a guy called The Joker who names his victims?

How could a criminal on trial bring a gun into a courtroom? And when disarmed, why would Dent give the gun to the defendant?

How in the hell does the batpod get out of the nearly indestructible batmobile?

I'm pretty sure Inception has tons of these too.

I guess Nolan really likes playing fast and loose with things like logic and continuity.

I don't mind these things if they aren't over the top dumb and if the movie keeps a pace where you can miss 'em. It is a movie after all. But Prometheus and Rises won't get a pass from me.

That doesn't negate the fact next time you see Batman toss a dog you'll probably laugh your hiney off. The dog's "awrrrrf?" is the icing on the cake.

I guess that's really the big difference. I'm willing to forgive Rises for some of the crazy logic leaps because I was willing to forgive the other two movies for them.

I mean often times I'll find that with a well done review, even if I don't agree with someone's conclusion on something, I'll often agree on some level with many of the criticisms of it. The differences being that what was a deal breaker for one person isn't necessarily a deal breaker for me, and vice versa.

it's not that kind of bad movie. It's just a really bad movie. And completely baffling. Other than the four character names listed above, I have no idea what the movie has to do with the games.
