You remember how a tree landed on your Saab?

Yeah that was no accident pally.
Dammit sir. I did no permanent damage! Also, what could I have done months ago for you to plant fungus on the tree?

You dudes and dudettes are awesome. There is no other site that I make sure to check on the regular like I do with this one, and it's just because this is the kind of community I love being a part of. I'm sure I'll have some specific things to say about people later, but I want to begin by just addressing the whole community for being such a great group of gamers.

If you're reading this, you're family.

What J T said. You guys rock. Even when I don't like you a little. Or a lot. You know who you are. No, but seriously, this post would be way too long if I listed everyone who's made a positive impact. I don't know if I should even try.

That said, I gotta give special props to sevin0seven, Gritty Kitty, Hobie-wan, s1mplehumar, fvgazi, brunoafh, Key-glyph, Xeogred, dsheinem, and noiseredux for being great friends on and off the forum. You guys mean so much to me.

The place is as a whole by far the best online community I've ever been a part of.

So yeah.

I love you guys and I don't give a damn what people say.

I'm not a guy with an amusing pseudonym and I only post on two boards for a reason. That reason being I don't want to post where people aren't themselves. Pointing out why every one here is great would take too long, so in short I love you guys for your quirks, and more importantly, for your honesty.

I also have to add that managing the charity auction (I swear I'll update the op this weekend) has been an exhausting blessing. Even if you donated a copy of Madden '93 or placed a one dollar bid, my heart goes out to you. The generosity everyone has shown puts an ear to ear grin on my face every single day. This auction will directly impact five lives, and I am humbled that the mods (and former mod) allowed me to help raise money for a deserving family in need.

I'm not one to post/comment an awful lot, but I really respect and appreciate the knowledge many of the users on this forum have, and most of all, how quick they are to share it. I think it's awesome that you guys are so passionate about retrogaming, and I love how I never feel out of place here. Thanks guys!

Like the forum, love the people.

There's no better hobby to bring the real awesome people together -- you know, those who wore their underwear OUTSIDE their pants before it was cool.
