Back in the day i had bought 10 of 'em instlaled 3 and killed at least 1 ps1.

Modchip in my dreamcast died eventually had to remove it to get it working again.

ps1 mod chips are really easy, but i think people are resorting to boot discs these days.

ps2 mod chips work for import ps1 games?

I installed it on a fat PSX and on the small PSone. They work flawlessly. I enjoy the PSone crazily since I have the PSone screen.

Is this the one you got? I really want to get a mod chip for my PS1.

I also read on another thread from 2006 about this site:

http://www.modchipoutlet.com/psxmodchips.htm

Has any one bought from these sites before? I just wanna make sure they aren't scam artist. I've heard stories about some sites selling chips that don't actually work.

I have a Crystal Chip in my PS2 and it plays PS1 imports just fine.
