What was the last movie you've seen?

Was that the engineer that Jewel Staite played? Because yeah, Jewel Staite is cute as hell.

Yep, she played Kaylee. And while I think Monica Baccarin is lovely, Jewel Staite is GAWJUS.

Baccarin is cute, but she looks really weird with short hair. Looks like she has a really long neck.

Tomboy (1985)

Im at work so I can't look up an image. Apparently starring Betsy Russell, who was a 'babe' from the 80s. Though I don't remember her. All I remember is watching this movie back in the late 80s on my local area "Channel 4's Saturday Late Night Movie." It stuck in my mind because as a 12 year old kid, I could already tell where 'editing' would take place. I could tell that at whatever certain point, this woman was about to take her top off, and it would *SLICE* be edited for content on a local channel broadcast.

I recently came across it on Netflix and added it to my queue. It was horrible. Terrible music, awful fashion sense (ie. the 80s) zero story and gobs and gobs of gratuitous nudity. Gotta love 80s TnA movies. I was able to watch the spots where I knew boobs would be, lol so I was able to finally see the boobs I'd been gypped from seeing long ago.

Never seen it... but it's now noted...

My wife kept coming into the room and giving me her tight lipped (you're an idiot, but I love you) look. I was just like "babe, come on, I should have seen these as a prepubescent kid... I'm owed this!"

Hifi Hobbit - it is a marrying of the great DVD visuals with a cleaned up version of the original audio from the VHS and remastered tracks from the Vinyl soundtrack. The reason they did this is because for unknown reasons the DVD is missing alot of the soundeffects. There are a couple times when the audio gets wobbley but overall it is vastly better than the stock DVD version. If I end up having to work nights again, I might just add the sound effects to the DVD audio track.

as if you needed reason to watch it beyond "it's an 80's slasher" and "it takes place at a cheerleader camp" and "it's called Cheerleader Camp," there's also a scene where Lief Garrett raps. :|

Looking for a good Kung-Fu flick? Give this one a watch. Good humor, abrupt changes of scene, and great martial arts. I was laughing for a while with this movie.

Thriller: A Cruel Picture

It's a great revenge film filled with tons of action sequences, weird editing and an utterly depressing and dark atmosphere. It's about a mute woman that after being abused (Physically, psychologically and sexually) for a long time she decides to strike back.

This sounds great but there's one catch: Someone added hardcore sex inserts to the film (Even during the more unpleasant scenes) and while there are 2 editions of the film sadly... there isn't one that keeps the violent scenes while removing the hardcore inserts. You either get nothing or both the sex and violence.

Also, Tarantino based the character of Elle Driver in Christina Lindberg's character Frigga from this movie.
