To each their own. If the mohawk works, great! If not, shave your head. Try something else. It all depends on the individual, because some people have a look/personality that lends themselves towards one hairstyle or another.
What do you call the hairstyle where you grow hair on the top of your head really long, but shave the sides? I used to have one of those ten years ago.

I love getting mohawks in winter...if you can stand the chill it makes the style stick out more.
