Re: What are you playing?
I'm playing through Illusion of Gaia right now, and have 3 of the statue/idol things. I have enjoyed it thus far, although the game is rather cryptic.

Since I haven't posted here in a while and I removed my Backloggery in favor of a Radiant Silvergun reference in an RPG thread, here's what I'm doing.

Baldur's Gate
Medal of Honor Pacific Assault
Gamecube -
Splinter Cell
Medal of Honor European Assault

SICK. Is the game really hard on that level? Mark my words, I'll make every effort to make sure that hits Together Retro 2014 -- it was narrowly defeated by Half Life.Xeogred wrote:Replay Deus Ex on realistic (surprised I still haven't done this...)
That would be a good FPS for Ack to perhaps try too.

Re: What are you playing?
After picking up Ogre Battle 64 CIB for about $9.50, I'm working in on all the JP Mega Drive and Saturn SRPGs I've got, starting with Shining Force. Don't know how long I'll last in my goal of at least completing the Shining Force series, and Ogre Battle / FFT games I have, considering how out of practice I am with sticking with RPGs, but we'll see.
Shining Force is going pretty well so far. It's pretty damn hard in the beginning though, so I'm envisioning a slightly easy mid-game, and a punishingly difficult end-of-game.

Re: What are you playing?
Oh, yeah; JP.
That really would have been something if I found a US copy CIB for that.

Re: What are you playing?
I am currently playing Baldurs Gate and Bioshock for PC. I have almost completed Bioshock, about 3/4ths through and about half way down with Baldur's Gate and enjoying the heck out of both, although Bioshock is scaring the crap out of me. Horror videogames are the only thing that get to me for some reason.
Another game I am playing is Shadow of the Colossus as part of the SoC/Ico HD rerelease on PS3. I have taken down 9 colossi. This was one of my "games I have to finish" list because I played the PS2 version and just never finished it, even though I loved every minute and find it one of the most inspiring and intriguing games of all time. This time I am a bit more prepared, grabbing the fruit and glowing tailed lizards to boost my stats and making the game a lot easier.
All in all..I have my plate full!

Re: What are you playing?
You are in for a treat, sir. The last four colossuses (particularly the last two) are pretty spectacular. Then you get to play hard mode and the time attack modes.BogusMeatFactory wrote:Another game I am playing is Shadow of the Colossus as part of the SoC/Ico HD rerelease on PS3.
