I am going to update the score with this one since it is photo proof, is that ok with you? I am trying with now with the Gameboy version, working on breaking 100,000 lol.

Edit:
Mission accomplished! I didnt catch the lines because it went to the space ship cutscene really quickly.

That's cool. I'll keep trying. I've gotten higher before. It's all about getting in that Zen state.

The original Game Boy version is a classic, but after playing Tetris DX, I can't go back. DX seems like a minor upgrade at first, but the controls are more fluid which makes the gameplay about perfect, imo. Unfortunately, the audio sucks compared to the awesome tunes in the original.

P.S. Are emulators kosher? I played the above game from the cart on a GBA SP, but my preferred method is on a DS with Lameboy. Obviously, no cheats allowed. (I don't even know if Lameboy does that.)

Emulators are allowed for sure, obviously no cheats or anything, I mean who are you cheating but yourself. My NES score was emulator, and my GB score was on the 3ds download (basically the same as emulator lol)

Like riding a bike.

Took me a few tries to get into the groove.

Havent played GB tetris in a while.

Like I've said before; I like starting on level 9. EDIT But I'm following the rules DONE EDIT

My strategy is to try and work towards getting the tetris.

You can do it in the beginning but later on it obviously gets harder.

I will update my attempts later on.

Awesome, updated! I happened to best my score I posted right after I did it, though not enough to keep the top spot!

Let me make it easy for you, Hazerd:

(original Tetris, GBA SP)

I absolutely suck at Tetris. I think I've done better, but certainly not consistently. My girlfriend, on the other hand, aims to triple my score.

Noone is judging here! The more people posting scores the more compitetion we have and gives us scores to strive to.

Edit: I wish the 3ds download I am using added color like the GBC and GBA added to the original cart! my screens look all bland compared to you guys.
