Thanks for the kind words.

What subsets are you currently working on?
I have, for several years, been trying to obtain complete sets of NES and SMS games, and I have already obtained a lot of subsets within those collections (i.e., black Tengen carts, grey Tengen carts, "silver-label" Konami games, "pixel-art" Nintendo games, etc.).

With regard to other systems...I generally focus my collection on acquiring games from specific publishers. For example, I am trying to obtain all of Takara's Neo Geo ports for the SNES and all of Accolade's "cardboard box" games for the Sega Genesis. (You have a nice copy of Turrican in your collection BTW...I am still hunting that one down.) Most recently, I have decided to track down all of Sega and Imagic's games for the 2600 (excluding Atlantis II). I am also collecting all of Atari and Coleco's ports of Sega and Nintendo games for the 2600.

In addition to my extensive collection of terrible games, I also have a few "ironic" collections, which include:

Motown Games' SNES games;
Raya System's SNES games; and
Christianity-themed video games.

In any event, I have a lot of sub-collections, and if I ever get around to posting pictures of my collection online, I will be sure to highlight them.

I've actually considered tracking down all these and other non-late era Genesis cardboard games. Very cool.

Sounds great - looking forward to seeing them!

I didn't realize you had as many SCD games as you did. Nice man.

On the flip, when I see so many loose discs... I hurt.

The vast majority of those came in a lot I couldn't pass up, so I didn't. Someday maybe I'll get them in homemade cases.

Thanks. Terraforming is wonderfully strange.

I'm impressed you still have that little bundle strip thingy to hold Sonic CD, Ecco & Arcade Classics together with their manuals. I really wish I had that... and the manuals.

Steel Battalion case...so awesome...

Also...Xyanide. The game itself is OK, but the introductory cinematic, in my opinion, is simply fantastic.

I love checking this thread. How much more do you have coming for us?

I rarely see the Steel Battalion game with the box, let alone also the original packing box, so when I had the chance to buy it with one I did :)

My largest collections are PS1/PS2/PS3...those will hopefully go up later this month. Next up are probably my Nintendo (NES-GCN) games, then the Atari VCS and Jaguar stuff, then the Odyssey 2 collection, TI 99 collection, PC games, and a few other things. I need to update the Wii collection later this month too. The goal is to have everything relatively current by the end of the month so that I can catalog it all on RFGen and keep that current with stuff coming in/out over the course of the year. We shall see...

I really need to do that with my collections as well. Good luck!
