It can be found in most if not all asian stores.

Oh, the cock sauce! I love that stuff. It's good on almost anything. For anyone who hasn't tried it, I highly recommend giving it a taste.

Does that actually cook the egg at all, or does it just stay raw?
More like a thick yellow syrup, an acquired taste as in Natto (Rotten Soybeans).

Also like the the fatter noodles Udon, green onions and Japanese pepper. :D

never cease to amaze me how many variety of ways people come up with ways to make ramen to suit their taste.

I guess thats why they gain so much popularity through the years, it cheap, fast, and you can alter it to your likens .

another way i like to make my ramen is to mix the soup water with some kimchi, it gives it a tangy spicy flavor...

Now that looks delicious. Is that what it resembles if you put the egg in after the ramen is finished?

You might as well just eat macaroni and cheese.

My main eats lately has been the Maruchan Picante Chicken flavored ramen with some (cheap) habanero sauce mixed in for good measure.

Just had some for breakfast actually. Mmmmm....

Picante Chicken is really good.
I'll also go for the Oriental Flavor.
I don't think I've ever added my own ingredients before...

I've been thinking of picking up one of these: http://www.RapidRamen.com

This is my new secret weapon for Ramen: Amanfopong Hot Pepper Powder

A little goes a long way, but it adds a great bit of spice and flavor. Add this to what I said in my last post in this thread and you have a great bowl.
