I'm playing through Spec Ops: The Line. So far it's seeming like the gaming press underrated this one. It's so much more fresh and unique than a certain other game series, yet it recieved middling reviews. The voice acting, dialogue, graphics, and gameplay are all high quality. Plus who doesn't love a good retelling of Heart of Darkness?

Airborne Commando was what everyone supposed would be the last entry in a dead series of post-PS2 PS1 bargain titles. I bought it back in the day, and sunk a decent number of hours into it. I never figured the series would be revived, but man this is one heck of a comeback.

Replay Thief Gold with a mod that strips it down to how the original Dark Project was (which I haven't played...)
Check out Phantasy Star IV because it looks awesome...

I'm playing Enclave on the PC right now. Pretty close to the end on light side, then it's off to try the dark side. The story is pretty meh, but I'm enjoying the action. The game can be pretty challenging, but choosing the right character to use for each level helps a bit. Also, some of the enemy pathfinding can be hilarious!

I'd say I've been actively a retro game collector for 3 years now and I just took up playing Tecmo Super Bowl and I have to say it's been awesome. I use to really be into sports games but I totally lost interest. I think modern sports games are a bummer. Every year there's another game you have to learn and they get more and more complex. Tecmo Super Bowl is simple yet complex and there's a lot of active players out there and even an updated version of the game for the 2013 season. On top of that NFL Films recently did an episode on Tecmo Super Bowl which has revived the love for the game. If you use to play or never had a chance to play. I recommend getting a copy of Tecmo Super Bowl. Available on SNES, Sega and NES (the most popular). They also released Tecmo Super Bowl Throwback for XBLA.
