This is a very comprehensive list of games.

I am really looking forward to some of the kickstarter games like Shadowrun and Dead State.

I also am excited about Dragon Age 3 and SimCity.

There are a ton of interesting RPG and strategy games on the way too. Ugh, my poor back-log

I have to agree with some opinions here about the variety of PC games.. Seems like consoles cover more genres and have more interesting titles as a whole.. PC does offer an easier form of emulation, and being that I do programming, I want to have a decent PC that can run the latest software.. I still am partial to consoles however, although I love my FPS with Mouse/Controls, even though they aren't the same as back in the early 2000s with mods and paced action..

Also I do like the occasional MMO to keep my busy as well.. Hopefully consoles start to cater to controller based MMOs like they did with FF XI..

Even with the lack of variety, I still prefer PC gaming. Fact is, FPS is one of my favorite genres, as are strategy games and short quirky indie games. Besides that, after the cost of building the actual PC and setup, PC gaming is much cheaper than consoles.

But yeah, it saddens me that a lot of games, especially 3rd person action games and Japanese games, like Dynasty Warriors and Monster Hunter, don't come to PC.
Older. Not wiser.

I don't know if I agree. The games in that link show a wide variety of games.

The only thing PC consistently lacks if JRPGs and sports titles. I think it makes up for it with MMOs, point & click adventures, and strategy titles that consoles lack.

I'm a little bit biased in this regard, because I'm just not into RTS games and 2 or 3 of the most popular games on PC and perhaps overall are RTS games ala League, Dota and SC 2 etc...

First off I wanted to say that I am incredibly excited for the large amount of Adventure games that are in the works right now. New Adventures games form Ron Gilbert, Double Fine, Jane Jensen, Lori & Cori Cole, the Two Guys From Andromeda....my head is seriously exploding at the possibilities!

Not to mention other great games that I am looking forward to like DayZ, Zeno Clash 2, FRACT OST and so much more! it is going to be a good year! I just hope we get some unique titles that get the credit they deserve!

I agree, and there are quite a lot of exclusives in there too. Sometimes I feel like we aren't all looking at the same thing.

Awesome. So glad I keep my gaming PC up to date. :?
Europa Universalis IV
StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm
Company of Heroes 2
Might & Magic Heroes VI: Shades of Darkness
Command & Conquer
Impire
Planetary Annihilation

Those are some of the turn based strategy/real time strategy/grand strategy games that are going to be released in 2013. There's also Wasteland 2 (RPG) and Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs (Horror). There really haven't been much of notable PC exclusives that aren't niche/indie/(RT)strategy during this generation when compared to how things were during 2000-2006. Many PC exclusives simply go unnoticed unless you really follow the scene.

There are noncompetitive RTS games that focus on single player story campaign. Even the biggest, most competitive games in the genre (Warcraft 3, Starcraft and Starcraft 2) all have storymodes (I dont know how good SC/SC2 are but I know Warcraft 3+Warcraft 3: Frozen Throne both have awesome storylines). LOL and HON both are DOTA copies, and DOTA is a gameplay mode in Warcraft 3.
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box
