At absolute best voice acting would be the most ineffectual change to the franchise imaginable. It doesn't need it, and even if done well it'd add absolutely
nothing to the game.
I mean think about it, would Skyward Sword having voice acting
really have shifted your opinion of it much?

Zelda and Link have voices folks, and they will aways sound like this:
If you haven't heard those in your head the past 15 years or so of Zelda games, you were doing it wrong.

This is what I hear when I think of Link's voice:

Luddites
If I made a Zelda game with voice acting you would all wonder why it's never been done before.
In fact, I'd retool a bunch of things in that boring franchise

I have never played a game that introduced voice acting that made me go "Why have they never done this before?"

That's probably asking a bit much. I'd just be happy to have a decent Saturn collection of any sort from Sega.

The only way I'd want voice acting in a Zelda game is if it was like Panzer Dragoon or Ico and they all spoke in a made up language with subtitles. So....kinda similar to how it is now, but with gobbledegook.
